Open Up, the grassroots network of people with experience of mental distress, is looking for contributors for its June 2010 anti-discrimination conference, Challenging Discrimination Together.
We're asking people with direct experience of mental distress to talk about their experiences of running an anti-discrimination project and share their practical skills to benefit others.
Maybe you want to tell people about the challenges and rewards you encountered in running your project. Or maybe you have some specific talents, such as filmmaking, web design or drama development, and you’d like to train other people to use these skills to challenge discrimination.
More information and application forms are available on the Open Up website.
Deadline for applications is 4pm on Wednesday 7 April 2010.
